“一带一路”气候变化国际暑期学校开班通知(第二轮)

为深入贯彻“一带一路”倡议精神,深化与发展中国家在气候变化领域的国际合作,提升共建国家气候变化的科学研究水平与应对能力,兰州大学大气科学学院拟举办由国家留学基金委资助的“一带一路”气候变化国际暑期学校。现将有关事项通知如下:

一、暑期学校概况

1. 名称:“一带一路”气候变化国际暑期学校

2. 时间:2026年8月23日—9月6日(共15天)

3. 地点:

(1)理论授课:兰州大学城关校区观云楼1720室

(2)实地研学:兰州、民勤等野外科研观测平台

4. 教学语言:英语

二、培训内容与计划

本期暑期学校培训班面向“一带一路”沿线发展中国家,拟招收科研机构、高校及气象部门从事气候变化研究的科研人员与技术人员10名。课程聚焦气候变化前沿理论与技术应用,采用“专题授课+案例研讨+实地考察”三位一体模式,由兰州大学及国内外相关领域专家联合授课,野外台站实地研学由资深工程师全程指导实践,具体内容包括:

1. 前沿理论研究

气候变化科学基础、影响与适应、干旱气候变化、自然灾害预警、气候资源开发、大气污染监测、碳循环过程等。

2. 观测技术发展

气象观测原理、地面与遥感观测技术、数据处理与分析、数据可视化。

3. 全球预测模式研究进展

数值模式系统基础与新方法。(高分辨率观测、多尺度预报、人工智能应用等)

4. 实践授课

气象仪器操作与维护、野外观测站管理、数据处理软件使用、实地考察野外观测站点、民勤治沙工程等。

三、费用说明

1. 免收培训费(含教材、场地、野外考察及市内交通)。

2. 提供食宿:培训期间统一安排住宿与餐补。

3. 国际旅费:自理。

四、其他事项

1. 证书授予:结业学员将获得培训证书。

2. 安全规范:野外考察期间需遵守科研安全规定,统一配备保险。

3. 气候与交通提示:

兰州8月日均气温17-29℃,紫外线强,需防晒补水;

中川国际机场及高铁站连通国内外,交通便利。

Announcement of the Belt and Road International Summer School on Climate Change II

In order to fully implement the spirit of the Belt and Road Initiative, deepen international cooperation with developing countries in the field of climate change, and enhance the scientific research capacity and response capabilities of countries along the route, The College of Atmospheric Sciences at Lanzhou University plans to host the Belt and Road International Summer School on Climate Change, funded by the China Scholarship Council.The relevant details are as follows:

I. General Information

Name: The Belt and RoadInternational Summer School on Climate Change

Dates: August 23 – September 6, 2026 (15 days in total)

Venue:

(1) Lectures: Room 1720, Guanyun Building, Chengguan Campus, Lanzhou University

(2) Field study: Field observation stations in Lanzhou, Minqin, and other locations

Teaching Language: English

II. Training Content and Plan

This summer school is open to researchers and technical staff from research institutions, universities, and meteorological departments engaged in climate change research in developing countries along the Belt and Road. A total of 10 participants will be enrolled.

The curriculum focuses on cutting-edge theories and technological applications in climate change, adopting a three‑in‑one model combining thematic lectures, case studies, and field visits. The courses will be delivered by experts from Lanzhou University and other domestic and international institutions, with hands‑on guidance from senior engineers during field station visits.

Specific content includes:

Frontier theoretical research:

Fundamentals of climate change, impacts and adaptation, arid climate change, natural disaster early warning, climate resource development, air pollution monitoring, carbon cycle processes, etc.

Observation technology development:

Principles of meteorological observation, ground‑based and remote sensing techniques, data processing and analysis, data visualization.

Advances in global prediction models:

Fundamentals and new methods of numerical modelling systems (high‑resolution observation, multi‑scale forecasting, artificial intelligence applications, etc.).

Practical training:

Operation and maintenance of meteorological instruments, management of field observation stations, use of data processing software, field visits to observation sites, and the Minqin desert control project, among others.

III. Expenses

Training fees are waived (including teaching materials, venue rental, field trips, and local transportation).

Accommodation and meals: Accommodation and meal subsidies will be provided during the training period.

International travel expenses are to be borne by the participants.

IV. Additional Information

Certificate: Participants who complete the programme will receive a certificate.

Safety regulations: During field trips, participants must comply with research safety rules; insurance will be arranged uniformly.

Climate and transportation tips:

Lanzhou in August has average daily temperatures of 17–29°C, with strong UV radiation; please protect yourself from the sun and stay hydrated.

Zhongchuan International Airport and high‑speed rail stations arewell‑connected domestically and internationally, providing convenient travel options.
