为深入贯彻“一带一路”倡议精神,深化与发展中国家在气候变化领域的国际合作,提升沿线国家应对气候变化的科学研究与行动能力,兰州大学大气科学学院计划于2026年8月23日至9月6日举办“一带一路”气候变化国际暑期学校。现将有关事项通知如下:
一、暑期学校概况
名称:“一带一路”气候变化国际暑期学校
时间:2026年8月23日—9月6日(共15天)
地点:兰州大学城关校区观云楼2009室
二、培训内容与计划
本期暑期学校面向“一带一路”沿线发展中国家,拟招收境外高等院校或科研机构的在读研究生及以上学历学生、从事气候变化研究的科研人员、高校教师及气象部门技术人员共10名。课程聚焦气候变化前沿理论与技术应用,采用“专题授课+案例研讨”相结合的模式,由兰州大学及国内外相关领域专家联合授课。此外,还将安排实地考察活动,感受兰州周边地区的气候条件与治理能力。
三、申请条件与方式
申请资格
1.申请人身份:境外高等院校或科研机构的在读研究生及以上学历学生、在职教师、青年科研人员等外国籍学者(不含已在华就读或就职的学生和学者);
2.国别:共建“一带一路”国家;
3.专业背景:从事气候变化、气象学、生态学、环境科学等相关领域的研究或工作;
4.语言能力:具备良好的英语交流能力(听、说、读、写),能适应全英文授课和学术讨论。

Announcement for Registration – The Belt and Road International Summer School on Climate Change
In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Belt and Road Initiative, deepen international cooperation on climate change with developing countries, and enhance the scientific research capacity and action capabilities of countries along the route in addressing climate change, the College of Atmospheric Sciences, Lanzhou University, plans to hold “The Belt and Road International Summer School on Climate Change” from August 23 to September 6, 2026. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:
I. Overview of the Summer School
Name: The Belt and Road International Summer School on Climate Change
Dates: August 23 – September 6, 2026 (15 days in total)
Venue: Room 2009, Guanyun Building, Chengguan Campus, Lanzhou University
II. Training Content and Program
This summer school is open to developing countries along the Belt and Road. It plans to recruit a total of 10 participants, including currently enrolled graduate students and above from overseas universities or research institutions, researchers engaged in climate change studies, university faculty, and technical staff from meteorological departments. The program focuses on cutting-edge theories and technological applications in climate change, adopting a model combining thematic lectures and case studies. Lectures will be delivered by experts from Lanzhou University and other relevant institutions in China and abroad. In addition, field trips will be arranged to observe the climate conditions and governance capabilities in the areas surrounding Lanzhou.
III. Application Requirements and Procedure
Eligibility
Applicant status: Foreign nationals who are currently enrolled graduate students or above, in-service faculty members, or early‑career researchers from overseas universities or research institutions (excluding international students or scholars already studying or working in China);
Country of origin: Belt and Road partner countries;
Academic background: Engaged in research or work in climate change, meteorology, ecology, environmental science, or related fields;
Language proficiency: Good command of English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), capable of following lectures and participating in academic discussions conducted entirely in English.
